This medal depicts human writing from the first humans making their mark by pressing a hand in wet clay to the computer language.

Included in this medallic sculpture: Cuneiform, Runic, North Semitic, Greek, Latin, Egyptian, Roman, as well as current and computer writing.

The shape of this medallic sculpture is not completely round but like puzzle pieces to allude to the difficulty in deciphering old writings. It refers to new discoveries (puzzle pieces) to solve the mysteries. From an artistic point of view it also is more interesting and intriguing.
